Description It is the responsibility of the Fountain Worker to provide prompt, efficient and courteous service while displaying salesmanship and friendly hospitality skills. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Take and place order(s) and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable. Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures. Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests. Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments. Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures. Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment. Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in workstation, counters, tables, etc. Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft. Perform other job-related duties as requested. Requirements Performs other job-related duties as requested. Proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Education High School Diploma or GED - Required Additional Requirements Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays. Required 1+ year experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced restaurant. Preferred 1+ year guest service experience. Preferred Experience working in a similar setting. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of menu items, including mixing and serving beverages, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipment Knowledge of standard kitchen equipment, including, but not limited to toasters, refrigerators and coolers, slicers and beverage machines Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations Basic computer skills and experience with varied Point of Sale (POS) systems Ability to handle multiple types of information and/or perform multiple tasks Excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts

Responsibilities

Provide prompt and courteous service by taking orders, preparing beverages, and handling cash transactions. Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of both front and back-of-house areas while ensuring guest satisfaction.
