Fox Burger is currently seeking an experienced individual to join our kitchen as a Line Cook with Prep Cook skills. Located in Block 50 in the heart of the Leduc community, Fox Burger serves up smash-style burgers and features a rotating selection of Alberta craft beers. The Line Cook will work as a member of the kitchen team, assisting coworkers in the absence of the Head Chef and ensuring an expedient and enjoyable experience for our customers.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

The Line Cook will be part of a fast paced kitchen team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills; a demonstrated proficiency in short order cooking; an ability to adapt to changes in recipes and relay them to coworkers; an ability to operate within set time guidelines; a willingness to adapt with a kitchen team through ever changing challenges during service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preference will be given for cooks with minimum of 2 years of experience working in a fast paced kitchen
  • Exceptional communication and time management skills required
  • Proficiency in all areas of basic food preparation and execution
  • Preference will be given to applicants who have had previous experience in a similar style of restaurant
  • Red Seal certification would be an asset but is not a requirement
    Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus gratuities and benefits (benefits to be determined based on time employed within the company).
