Work in an exciting industry, as unique as you, with outstanding brands like James Squire, Hahn, Stone & Wood and Tooheys!   We are currently looking for a FP&A Analyst, to join our team reporting to our Senior FP&A Manager. In this role, you will partner with the business to provide financial and commercial analysis and insights to enable better decisions and manage business performance.   We are looking for someone to actively find new ways to learn and grow, be challenged through formal and self-directed learning, whilst strategically supporting our stakeholders. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter to make the role their own by driving good governance and improving processes to better outcomes.   A day in the life: Provide timely, accurate and insightful financial analysis which creates value and supports meaningful decision making Support the monthly reporting process, including variance analysis, month end close, management reporting and KPI tracking Support Overheads analysis including partnering with cost centre owners on their budget tracking Implement simplification of systems and processes to support continuous improvement Assist in the preparation of annual budgets (AOP), rolling forecasts and Kirin submissions Provide ad-hoc analysis and business partnering support as well as strong collaboration with wider finance teams   To be successful you will bring:  Previous experience within Accounting, Commercial or Financial roles Strong attention to detail, prioritisation and time management skills Excel modelling skills with high volume data, combined with experience in Power BI, Oracle PBCS and SAP preferred Strong analytic mindset, utilising data to generate deep insights to influence decisions Strong communication and storytelling capabilities Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or similar, with a professional qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent), or working towards completing one preferred At Lion, we offer ‘growth on tap’ and you’ll get hooked on reaching higher with each new challenge.
