About the position Location: Katowice, Poland Hybrid work We are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to support our Flora Food subsidiaries in financial operations, planning cycles, and project work. This role is key to ensuring accurate financial reporting, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic decision-making across the region. A significant part of this role involves advanced Excel usage for data analysis, reporting, and scenario modeling. Key Responsibilities: Business partnering Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with the local team, acting as a trusted advisor and challenging assumptions where necessary. Strategic Support: Partner with business units to understand objectives and provide financial guidance aligned with company goals. Decision Support: Provide scenario modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and insights for investments, pricing, and resource allocation. Month & Year-End Closing Collaborate with finance teams across Flora Food subsidiaries to ensure accurate month- and year-end closing data. Support the financial closing process, generate reports, and conduct analyses for MEC. Ensure financial assessments reflect current business developments. Resolve issues and drive continuous improvement by sharing best practices globally. Planning Cycles Support subsidiaries in business planning and forecasting to ensure technical accuracy. Integrate current business developments into planning cycles. Analyze planning data and ensure high-quality input. Provide variance analysis and reporting to Group Controlling. Project Work Participate in cross-functional finance and operations projects. Lead projects from a controlling perspective, from concept to implementation. Processes & Knowledge Management Maintain up-to-date documentation and guidelines. Deliver structured and engaging training to subsidiary controllers. Drive process optimization and enhance quality and efficiency in controlling. So, what does it take to be successful in this role? Minimum 3 years of experience in Controlling or Operations Management, with a focus on cross-functional data tools. Strong knowledge of reporting tools, ideally SAP BW. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Basic programming skills in VBA. Excellent command of English and Polish (required). Strong data analytics capabilities and understanding of data structures. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and large data sets. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Team-oriented, self-motivated, goal-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. What’s next?
