SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, or a similar role in B2B SaaS start up.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
  • Experience with financial reporting systems and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • CPA or CFA certifications will be a plus
  • Experience with Netsuite, Tableau, SalesForce, Modern FP&A Tools (Planful, Mosaic, etc)
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical FP&A Analyst to join our growing finance team. The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for assisting with financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication abilities needed to thrive in a fast-paced tech environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations.
  • Support the budget process by collecting data, consolidating information, and providing analysis.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for deviations from budget or forecasts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and understand business performance.
  • Assist in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance dashboards.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.
