Position Overview This position is responsible for financial planning and analysis, management, and reporting of the operating expenses budget and estimates for the Global Brands organization, as well as for the continuous improvement of related processes.
The Brands Analyst will work closely with the Global Brands Finance & Strategy team and other stakeholders, including SVPs and VPs, to support them in their decision making to achieve the desired financial performance, by identifying risks and opportunities, as well as providing financial insights.
He/she must be a team player and have good communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
Overall, this position will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the operating expenses for Global Brands.QualificationsOperational Excellence & Project Lead responsibilities: Prepare, in collaboration with the Global Brands teams, financial forecasts (annual plans and monthly estimates) for the operating expenses of the brand(s) under his/her responsibility.
Understand and monitor the performance of the different departments, as well as the drivers of their expenses, and provide variance analysis and financial insights to support decision-making.
Manage and control the expenses, identify saving opportunities, analyze financial trends, and provide recommendations to the management team to optimize the use of resources.
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management and stakeholders, as well as ensure that these reports are accurate and timely.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide insights and/or actionable recommendations to the management team.
Continually review the processes and systems used, identify opportunities for streamlining, and make recommendations to improve efficiency.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
Support strategic planning and other special projects as needed.
Qualifications: Degree: Bachelor’s in Accounting/Business Administration/Economics/Finance/Industrial Engineering preferred.
Excellent finance and forecasting skills.
Good communication skills.
Stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in data analysis.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and financial reporting tools
