FP&A AT PRIMARK

We are looking for an FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will provide support to the FP&A team with financial modelling and planning used for executive decision making. The successful candidate will be skilled in performance and variance analysis and play a key role in generating insight for the commercial teams.

What You’ll Do as an FP&A Analyst

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

  • Support with the submission of budgets and forecasts to ABF ensuring inputs are managed in an accurate, efficient manner to all levels of the organisation.
  • Build and manage financial models.
  • Provide in-depth analysis on business performance, working closely with the FP&A managers to emphasises the implications of the numbers and suggested actions.
  • Ability to work closely with various key stakeholders within the business and bring knowledge from various sources to support with the insights.
  • Work collaboratively across different finance teams, particularly the financial reporting and financial business partnering teams.
  • Understand our customers and our competitors, while keeping up to date with commercial trends.
  • Ad-hoc analysis as required by the business.

  • Bachelor’s degree +
  • Accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
  • Previous FP&A experience working in a fast-paced environment / retail / FMCG.
  • Strong statistical modelling skills e.g., regression, correlation, etc.
  • High level of financial and analytical acumen with the ability to interrogate large data sets and come to sound, logical recommendations and conclusions.
  • The ability to produce relevant, coherent, succinct information analysis for all levels of management.
  • Demonstrate initiative with strong work ethic.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and pro-actively.
  • Proven experience in building relationships across stakeholders.A detailed orientated, numerically savvy individual, who is also solutions focused.
