Description

Purpose
The FP&A Analyst - Corporate will be responsible for understanding the overall business model of the company in order to drive the development of intricate financial models that assist the company in understanding the financial impacts of future business decisions. They will need to have a thorough understanding of the key business units of the company and their individual impacts on the company’s current and future financial statements. They will be involved in forecast and budget as well as ad-hoc analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares accurate and timely financial and business-related analyses, including the annual plan and forecasts
  • Create specific ad hoc analytics and business cases for Senior & Executive Leadership Teams to help make important decisions
  • Drive strategic efficiency and improvement projects
  • Evaluate the financial consequences of future business decisions through financial models/analytics that can be utilized to inform senior leadership of the projected outcomes
  • Partner with leadership and other departments in the preparation of analyses and to identify improvement opportunities that can provide positive results to the bottom line Development of cash and non-cash financial reporting
  • Assist in developing presentations to effectively communicate the results research and analysis to stakeholders at all levels
  • Develop strong relationships, embracing cross-boundary collaboration to influence peers and leadership across the company

About You

  • 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting, corporate finance, investing (private or public equity), investment banking, or management consulting
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or other related field or an equivalent amount of experience
  • Highly proficient in dissecting financial statements and interpreting operational implications
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Collaborative and fun to work with; able to build strong relationships within the team and with our stakeholders
  • Strong verbal communication; ability to concisely and effectively articulate complex concepts to senior management of different functions
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Google Data Studio, etc.) preferred
  • A desire and comfort in working in a changing, fluid environment
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadline

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to ~10% of the time, which may include weekends and evenings, as needed
  • Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled environment
  • Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal
  • Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday
  • Stooping, bending, twisting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
