Wealthfront is looking for a junior FP&A Analyst, who will report directly to the Senior Director of Finance. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative individual who is eager to learn and grow.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills when managing competing priorities and adeptly handle both familiar and unfamiliar tasks. They will also be proficient in analyzing and preparing data for internal and external stakeholders. Last but not least, they will be passionate about the industry and possess a team player mentality to support their own professional development as well as the team’s ultimate goals.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE



    • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, or Economics related field.

    • 2-4 years of experience in an FP&A role.
    • Excellent analytical skills and a strong proficiency in financial modeling and enterprise accounting software (e.g., Netsuite). Database experience (e.g., SQL) a plus.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
    • Self-starter who regularly takes initiative and can juggle multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating creativity and judgment while prioritizing appropriately to meet tight deadlines.
    • A proven ability to problem solve and proactively address issues in a professional and effective manner.
    • Takes pride in meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations on quality of output.
    • Relentless attention to detail with the ability to adapt communications based on the audience.
    • Unquestionable ethics. High standard for integrity required for exposure to confidential company performance, legal contracts, and employee information.

    Responsibilities


      • Manage the scheduling, planning, and preparation of the monthly Close.

      • Assist with the monthly review of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flow (direct & indirect) by preparing variance analysis reports and forecasts.
      • Proactively identify, develop, and implement enhancements to existing reporting and business processes.
      • Assist in the preparation of Wealthfront’s annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
      • Leverage insights from the month-end close and other projects to improve the quality of Wealthfront’s operating and financial models.
      • Support the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial presentations.
      • Continuously improve and implement new financial and operational processes to support the Finance and Accounting teams.
