Description

We are looking for an experienced FP& A Director to join our team on a short-term contract basis in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. This role involves enhancing and refining financial models, with a focus on long-term forecasting and monthly financial reporting. The position requires strong expertise in financial planning and analysis, as well as advanced proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and improve a 5-year financial forecasting model to better align with organizational growth and acquisitions.
  • Maintain and enhance monthly financial reporting tools to ensure accurate data capture and reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and incorporate them into financial models.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to build, refine, and analyze complex financial spreadsheets.
  • Ensure financial models are adaptable and scalable for future organizational changes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to guide decision-making based on financial data.
  • Work closely with the finance team to identify areas for process improvement and optimization.
  • Support reporting and analysis using Sage Intacct and other relevant tools.
  • Deliver high-quality financial models within the project timeline.
  • Communicate progress and findings clearly to stakeholders through virtual meetings.
  • At least 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in developing and improving financial models.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and data analysis.
  • Strong forecasting and long-term planning skills.
  • Familiarity with Sage Intacct is a plus.
  • Experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
