Description

FROM TRAINEE ACCOUNTANT TO SENIOR LEADERSHIP - COULD THIS BE YOUR JOURNEY TOO?

Your future manager started here as a Trainee Accountant. Step by step, she’s grown, been promoted, and is now a Senior Finance Manager leading a brilliant team. She knows what it takes to build a career, and she’s passionate about helping the next person do the same.
That next person could be you.
If you’re a CIMA or ACCA part-qualified accountant who lights up when talking about data, FP&A, and process improvements, this is a role that’s been designed for you.

What’s in it for you?

  • A clear growth path - join a manager who’s walked the journey from trainee to senior leader and wants to mentor you to do the same.
  • Full study support - comprehensive package, monthly study leave, paid exam days, plus all materials covered.
  • A role built for development - much of the “traditional” accounting has been stripped back, making this a hybrid of accounting + FP&A + data analysis.
  • Your ideas will be heard - you’ll be encouraged to improve processes, shape reporting, and add value through better analysis.
  • A balanced environment - free parking, an onsite canteen and Costa, modern offices, and a team that values collaboration and support.
  • Flexibility - a supportive management team and a Bangalore-based support function help you focus on adding value.

What you’ll do

  • Dive deep into data, analysing inventory, costings, and stock holdings.
  • Deliver clear, insightful margin analysis to help drive better decision-making.
  • Support key projects including process improvements and strengthening FP&A capability.
  • Take ownership of margin reporting, journals, and related month-end activities.
  • Work closely with business partners across finance and operations to add real value.

What we’re looking for

  • Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA (or QBE with strong experience).
  • Medium to large company experience
  • A passion for data, analysis, and using numbers to tell a story.
  • Strong Excel and data manipulation skills.
  • Someone proactive, curious, and not afraid to challenge and improve.

This is more than just a margin accountant role - it’s a chance to take your career to the next level under the guidance of someone who’s done it before.
