Andrew Morgan is a fast-growing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and HUBZone SB. We are currently seeking a qualified FP&A Manager to join our team supporting the acquisition of Defense Health Systems within the Department of Defense (DoD).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ Years of experience in Federal Financial Management Consulting
  • Proficiency in budgeting and making data-driven recommendations
  • Experience delivering data-informed presentations and recommendations to executive-level clients
  • Ability to facilitate client management teams through change processes and client meetings
  • Knowledge of agile and/or project management methodology to ensure timelines of deliverables and awareness of budgetary constraints and milestones
  • Familiarity with DoD Acquisitions and the PPBE (Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution) process preferred,
  • Demonstrated involvement in process improvement projects
  • Experience in directing budgetary activities to drive progress toward client KPI’s and mission objectives

Responsibilities

The FP&A Manager will assist the Program/Project Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Team, and Cost Estimation Team in providing practical solutions and cost methodologies to the acquisition of Defense Health Systems.

  • Coordinate with the Program/Product Manager(s), FP&A Team, Acquisitions, Budget Execution Team, and Cost Estimation Team to collectively achieve key mission goals.
  • Serve as key financial lead to the Cost Estimation, Acquisition, FP&A, and Program team and is able to forecast key tasks, plan for them in advance, and confirm that activities are executed effectively and on-time.
  • Facilitate product cost estimate updates, including thorough documentation, throughout the year in support of program goals and objectives in the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and spend plan.
  • Effectively communicate deliverables to executive-level clients, AMC team members, and external stakeholders through various methods, including presentations, dashboards, white papers, and reports.
  • Present information derived from data and process analyses to internal and external customers and stakeholders with proficiency in oral, visual, and written communications.
  • Fully capable of collecting, compiling, editing, analyzing, and presenting data.
  • Assist in improving processes and procedures for managing financial reporting requirements.
  • Utilize an innovative and solutions-oriented approach for all tasks and projects.
  • Conducts both quantitative and qualitative analyses in support of business workflow processes and recommends the planning for corrective courses of action.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial, project, and program management principles.
