The role We’re looking for an FP&A Manager with experience of running a budgeting cycle and analysing and reporting performance against that budget. The role will require both financial and data analysis skills and provide the opportunity to work with and influence stakeholders throughout the business. This will involve: Reporting & forecasting Take ownership of the half yearly budget & forecast process across the business with support from CFO: Working with stakeholders to forecast revenue and costs; Provide information to budget owners to monitor performance against budget/forecast; Maintain a culture of continual improvement to refine models and enhance accuracy. Partner with budget owners to understand the likely P&L outcome on a rolling 3 month basis and any over/under spends vs budget/forecast. Partner with CFO to provide monthly commentary around P&L performance. Deliver financial analysis, dashboards, and performance metrics to guide business decisions, identify risks, and drive improvements with support from CFO. Other Supporting business lines with financial modelling assistance & analysis on key business insights including (but not limited to) product profitability, capacity planning and investment assessments Provide support to the CFO & Head of Finance with ad hoc projects & requests The candidate Required: Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with relevant post qualified experience. Experience of full income statement (revenue & expenses) budgeting / forecasting and analysis Advanced Excel modelling skills Experience of advising, challenging and influencing key non-financial stakeholders Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience of proactively managing one’s own work load A track record of questioning the status quo and creating and experimenting with new processes / procedures. Desired: Experience working in a high growth start-up of SME preferable but not a pre-requisite Experience working with NetSuite & Looker preferable but not a pre-requisit
