Description

We are seeking an experienced FP& A Manager to join our team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will provide critical financial insights, support executive decision-making, and ensure accurate forecasting and planning during a period of transition and growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a hands-on approach to financial management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, partnering with department heads to align financial goals with business objectives.
Prepare and deliver monthly management reports, including variance analysis, key performance indicators (KPIs), and trend insights.
Develop and enhance financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives.
Conduct ad hoc analysis to evaluate business performance, investments, and cost optimization opportunities.
Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance on operations, projects, and strategic initiatives.
Support the month-end and quarter-end close process with variance commentary and executive reporting.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Drive process improvements and strengthen FP& A tools, dashboards, and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA designation an asset.
5–8+ years of progressive experience in FP& A, financial analysis, or corporate finance.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday Adaptive, Anaplan, Vena).
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
Prior contract or consulting experience considered an asset.
