JOB SUMMARY

The Business Finance Manager / FP&A Manager is a key partner to the Water and Livestock, Poultry, Dairy (LPD) lines of business and the Regional Operations team for the Asia Pacific region. The Finance Manager is a trusted adviser to stakeholders, support the development of budget, operating policies and procedures with supervisory responsibilities over a team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidates would have at least 10 years of finance and accounting experience in a commercial organization. Global multi-national companies experience is advantageous.
  • Candidates from pharmaceutical, healthcare, analytical instrument preferred with experience with FP&A, including reporting, analytics, consolidation in a global organization.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, preferred. Masters in Finance and business Admin advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in both written and verbal English is a must, fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, Thai advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS office applications–with strong knowledge of spreadsheet and database software including Sales Force.
Responsibilities
  • Manage FP&A activities for Water and LPD lines of business and Operations functional activities, including responsibility for the APO regions as primary business partner to the regional Commercial leaders for Water, LPD and Operations.
  • Support business decision making, reporting and consolidation of financial results including presentation of results to management. Prepare various analyses as needed to highlight issues and resolve questions.
  • Lead FP&A activities of the business including budget, forecasts and month end closing responsibilities, planning and organizing work, providing for adequate staffing and resources and maintaining work on schedule.
  • Communicate with other related departments to coordinate work and resolve issues as needed. Provide internal and/or external customer feedback and leads/participates in teams related to new or ongoing project work and other areas as needed.
  • Lead/contribute to process/other improvements based on evaluation of existing procedures and business needs. Utilize data, metrics and system tools to ensure efficiency and to maximize customer experience. Identify problems, obstacles and opportunities and proactively acts to address issues. Strive for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare reports and other information summarizing work activities and report results to peer groups as well as senior management.
  • Manage staff, assigning work, monitoring activities and evaluating performance. Administer employment actions, provide coaching and guidance to staff and promote staff training and development. Support the development of program budget, policies and procedures. May coordinate work of outside vendors and contractors.
