Description

Monthly Financial Reporting 1. Provision of timely & reliable information to budget holders to aid their decision-making process & achievement of month end reporting timetables for global finance 2. Analysis of monthly I&E reports, including variances between actual & budget. Proactive monitoring of financial performances and recommend improvements. 3. Present financial results to Chief Officers and provide support to business decisions. 4. Ensure correct coding of I&E entries 5. Prepare monthly income and expense accruals 6. Obtaining & reviewing non-financial data which supports the financial information 7. Identify gaps in the business to stakeholders Monthly Forecast 1. Develop monthly forecast projections through analysis and risk assessment of business units. 2. Provision of timely & accurate (no surprises) forecast information to global finance in line with reporting timetables. Reporting and Analytical tools 1. Provision of analytical reports to budget holders & FP&A, on a timely basis, to better inform the decision-making processes 2. Analysis of data for plan presentations to senior stakeholders and Chief Officers. 3. Key user of the Oracle EPBCS module 4. Guide and mentor junior analyst Accountability 1. Provision of timely & reliable information for budgeting submission 2. Work with budget holders and provide constructive financial advices to complete their annual plans 3. To develop an accurate forecast for review 4. Ensure all plans are submitted timely and accurately 5. Preparation of accurate forecast with budget holders. 6. Suggest initiatives to improve the efficiency of processes / workflow Support for IB Project Teams 1. Provide Strategy Team with financial data and analysis as and when required to support the works on IB Strategy 2. Provide IB project teams with financial data and analysis to support the evaluation of possible new projects 3. Ensure that business is clear on requirements and reasons for application of consistent set of metrics 4. Provide information to project managers as and when necessary

Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst will manage monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes while providing analytical support to senior stakeholders. They are also responsible for maintaining the Oracle EPBCS module and mentoring junior team members.
