We’re looking for FPGA Developers at various career stages to join one of Norway’s largest FPGA communities. Whether you’re an experienced developer or growing into a senior role, you’ll be working on cutting-edge live production technology alongside a strong, cross-functional team.
At Appear, you’ll be part of a collaborative development environment with over 100 engineers across hardware, software, and FPGA. We work closely together to solve challenges, share knowledge, and push the boundaries of media and broadcasting technology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electronics, cybernetics, or a related field
  • Experience with VHDL programming and FPGA design
  • Understand electronics and enjoy working close to the hardware
  • Being curious, structured, and thrive in a collaborative setting
  • Experience with Agile principles is a plu
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop industry-leading FPGA-based systems for low-latency, high-bandwidth media transfer
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to specifications
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex hardware/software interactions
  • Develop and execute verification and test procedures to ensure quality and performance
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technology
