DESCRIPTION As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the selection, development, and seamless integration of FPGAs that implement critical functionality on our prototypes. Your work will span a wide range of applications, from crafting low-level hardware control and status for embedded systems and high-speed links, to integrating high-level IP blocks and developing custom hardware-accelerated algorithms and filters. You will leverage your strong foundation in digital design and communications, working with micro-controllers, microprocessors (ARM), and various peripheral interfaces (I2C, SPI, high-speed serial interfaces), and industry-standard protocols (PCI Express, USB, Ethernet). This role requires significant hands-on experience with board bring-up and debug of complex digital hardware. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years in digital design and embedded systems development Expertise in Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL and extensive experience with large-scale FPGA development (Xilinx/Altera), including full build flows and timing closure Strong hands-on lab debug skills, utilizing FPGA debug tools (e.g., ChipScope, SignalTap) and lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) Experience with RTL/gate-level simulation and verification methodologies, as well as debugging silicon and PCB issues Excellent communication skills and a desire to take on diverse technical challenges BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Familiarity with HAPS platform and tool flow ASIC Design/Verification experience Good Knowledge of FPGA backend flow Good knowledge of FPGA STA Proficiency in scripting (Python, TCL, Makefile) and C/C++
