Company Description Our client is a global multi-energy company operating large-scale refining and petrochemical facilities. Project for Block 20/11, the development consists in production by subsea wells to a spread moored FPSO (75 kbopd, 60 kbop water injection, 400 MMscfd gas reinjection, oil tandem offloading). The service holder reports hierarchically to the FPSO Hull Manager. The service holder shall provide support to the supervision and approval of the EPSCC Contractor and subcontractors’ work for a FPSO (VLCC sized) conversion project for Block 20/11. Job Description HSE tasks: - Demonstrate of an exemplary behavior with regards to HSE - Implement HSE requirements within the hull work scope area. Organizational tasks: - Assist the FPSO Hull Manager in maintaining an efficient organization and a team of highly motivated and reactive engineers. - Coordinate weekly meetings with the Hull team to discuss deliverables and progress - Coordinate monthly meetings with CTR’s Hull Delivery manager to discuss progress with Contractor. - Coordinate updates of weekly report with input from Hull team. Project Engineering: - Coordinate regular meetings with Contractors’/ Subcontractors’ team to discuss deliverables and address Contractors’/Subcontractor queries and to monitor their performance. - Specifically monitor Contractor/ Subcontractors performance for the Hull deliverables; e.g. monitoring of document issuance against Master Document Register (MDR), shop drawings, etc. - Ensure compliance of Contractors’/Subcontractors’ engineering with the project requirements. - Ensure any deviations are accurately monitored, replied to, expedited and reported to the FPSO Hull Manager - Liaise with the FPSO Hull manager on request to properly address all interfaces issues between the hull and the topsides. o Review and approve minutes of minutes (MOMs) as required. - Assist the Hull manager in reviewing the Project Schedule and monitoring and updating Contractor’s progress with the FPSO Planning Engineer - Attend with the FPSO interface engineer the weekly interface meetings. - Assist the Hull Manager in the review of the Hull & Living Quarters (LQ) Material Take-offs and review of PDMS 3D Model Hull & LQ review. o Attend Contractor meetings to monitor progress e.g. Procurement and Construction meetings. - Oversee and review design and verifies the compatibility of design with other interfacing disciplines, e.g. SURF via the FPSO Interface Engineer. - Oversee and review plans for transport of the FPSO to field as well as modules/equipment to integration yard. - Timely review and comment on documents related to Hull, LQ and Mooring Engineering & Construction deliverables; liaise with other specialist(s) and stakeholders as required. - Oversee and review Classification approval for the FPSO. - Oversee and review the repair and life extension activities on the hull. - Oversee and review the hull construction activities are compliant with the design and project requirements. - Promptly respond to engineering clarifications, request for deviations and unexpected technical issues, by a proactive and proficient approach. - Ensure proper reporting, highlighting critical issues to the Hull Manager and proposing remedial actions. Contract Management: - Prevent as far as practicable Change Order by proactive & early identification at engineering stages of arising issues. - Review Change Work Orders and New Price Forms. - With Assist the Hull Manager in the review of the current costs vs budgets - With Assist the Hull Manager in the review of the Hull & LQ Bill of Quantities. The service holder shall manage the supervision and review of the activities related to the Hull, LQ and Mooring delivery carried out by the EPSCC contractor, focusing on the successful and timely execution of the project. Work to ensure that the FPSO contractor will follow the Company specifications. Qualifications - Confirmed expertise in project engineering, management and construction oversight activities in Oil & Gas and Maritime projects, particularly FPSO projects. - Degree in Naval Architecture or similar - Rigorous and solution orientated expertise to task completion - Organization, communication, leadership and transverse coordination expertise for task completion - Languages of the service: English mandatory.
