Currently, different entities and geographies operate with a mix of independent systems, legacy platforms, and developing digital capabilities. The mandate of this role is to assess and map the existing technology landscape across the organization and develop a clear roadmap to better connect systems, processes, and data, enabling growth, operational efficiency, and stronger collaboration across markets. This is a strategic leadership engagement, working closely with the CEO and senior leadership to help define and guide the organization’s digital and technology direction. The role will involve assessing existing systems, identifying gaps and overlaps, and designing an architecture that enables better connectivity between business units, geographies, and operational functions. The objective is not simply to deploy new systems but to create a cohesive digital foundation that supports innovation, operational excellence, and long-term scalability across the group. Map existing platforms, applications, infrastructure, and data flows across geographies and business units. Identify gaps, redundancies, integration challenges, and opportunities for modernization. Technology Strategy & Architecture Develop a group-wide IT strategy and technology architecture roadmap aligned with business growth plans. Define principles for system integration, interoperability, and data management across entities. Recommend scalable technology platforms that support operational efficiency and collaboration across locations. Digital Integration Across the Group Identify opportunities to connect systems and processes across different units and geographies. Enable better visibility into information, operational coordination, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. Provide guidance on the adoption of enterprise platforms where appropriate. Advisory to Leadership Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on technology investments, digital transformation priorities, and IT governance. Provide insights on how technology can support growth, operational resilience, and regulatory requirements within the medtech sector. Governance & Future Capability Building Recommend governance frameworks for managing IT initiatives across multiple entities. Help leadership prioritize investments and build a structured roadmap for implementation over time. Guide the development of internal capabilities or partnerships required to support the organization’s digital evolution. Ideal Candidate Profile Senior technology leader with 20+ years of experience in enterprise IT leadership, digital transformation, or CIO roles. Experience working across multi-entity organizations, global operations, or complex business environments. Strong background in enterprise architecture, system integration, and technology strategy. Exposure to healthcare, medtech, manufacturing, or regulated industries is highly desirable. Experience working in advisory or fractional leadership roles will be an advantage. Ability to translate complex technology landscapes into clear strategic roadmaps for business leaders.
