Description Hocher Holdings is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Fractional Controller to provide part-time financial leadership and oversight on a project basis, supporting the CFO and executive team. This role is ideal for a senior finance professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and can deliver high-level financial strategy while remaining hands-on with core accounting, reporting, and operational finance functions. The Fractional Controller will partner closely with the CFO and executive leadership to strengthen financial operations, enhance reporting accuracy, improve internal controls, and support key strategic growth initiatives. Requirements Oversee monthly close, financial reporting, and general accounting operations. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong internal controls across financial processes. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Provide financial insights and performance analysis to support executive decision-making. Support banking relationships, treasury oversight, and financing initiatives as needed. Establish KPIs and real-time reporting dashboards to enhance leadership visibility. Build scalable processes that support growth while maintaining cost efficiency. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including Controller, Head of Finance, or similar leadership roles. Experience providing financial leadership in multi-entity, parent-company, or growth-focused environments. Strong background in financial reporting, treasury management, and governance. Experience with ERP systems and financial transformation initiatives (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, SAP, etc.). Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced financial analytics tools is a plus. Experience in aviation, construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, hospitality, or startup environments preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a part-time or fractional capacity. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership. Fractional assignment is 3-6 months based on project outcomes.
Responsibilities
This role involves providing part-time financial leadership, overseeing monthly close, financial reporting, and ensuring strong internal controls across financial processes. The Fractional Controller will also lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management while supporting executive decision-making.
