Fractional HR Manager (Contract) Department: People Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract Location: Toronto Reporting To: Chief People Officer Description We’re looking for a Fractional HR Manager to support our Canada employee population locally on a contract basis. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping day-to-day HR operations running smoothly, supporting managers and colleagues with local people matters, and helping ensure our Canada processes are compliant, practical and people-focused. The role sits within Bede’s wider People team and works closely with colleagues across Toronto, Newcastle and Sofia to deliver a joined-up colleague experience. It would suit someone who enjoys variety, is comfortable working autonomously, and is confident acting as the local HR lead for a small employee population (
Responsibilities
The Fractional HR Manager will act as the primary point of contact for HR operations in Canada, managing the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, payroll, and benefits. They will also provide coaching to managers on employee relations and ensure all local processes remain compliant with Ontario and Canadian labour laws.
