FRAME STYLIST / OPTICIAN AT AN INDEPENDENT PRIVATE PRACTICE IN SASKATOON

Vista Eyecare is looking for a full time frame stylist / optician who has a passion for providing a personalized shopping experience and amazing patient care. We are an independent optometry practice established in 2003. We are currently building a new office and are looking for additional staff to accommodate our office growth. We value getting to know our patients and want everyone who walks through our door to feel like family.

• Working in the optical to provide personalized service
• Helping our patients look and see their best by assisting them in selecting frames and lenses appropriate to their prescription and lifestyle
• Troubleshooting any problems to ensure our patients are happy with their eyewear
• Being a team player and assisting other team members to ensure a smooth office flow
• Demonstrating exceptional product knowledge
• Being motivated to stay current with technology and trends
• Willingness to cross train in other areas such as pretesting in order to help when needed
• Detailed entries into electronic health records
• Verifying incoming and outgoing orders
• Minor frame repairs and adjustments
• General office duties (answering phones, greeting patients, taking payments)
