Job Details Division: Nucor Warehouse Systems Location: Monroe, GA, United States   Other Available Locations: N/A Basic Job Functions: Nucor Warehouse Systems- GA is looking for welders for our Frame department.  An ideal candidate will focus on safety, be a team player, and find ways to be improve efficiency and safety. Setup gas-shield MiG-welder and weld parts to job specifications Use hand tools, clamps, and grinders to perform job tasks Complete basic maintenance on welding equipment Able to read, interpret, and understand blueprints, drawings, specifications, weld symbols, tolerances Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, and bolt parts and components as necessary to satisfy technical requirements and create final welded and/or assembled product Examine finished products and spare parts and compare them with drawings and quality control documents to determine if specifications and tolerances are met Meeting daily production goals Follow company safety practices and procedures.   Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Responsibilities
The Frame Welder will set up gas-shield MiG-welders and weld parts according to job specifications. They will also perform maintenance on welding equipment and ensure that finished products meet quality control standards.
