Description

THE CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Are you an experienced Framer and/or Metal Cladder who takes pride in top-tier craftsmanship? We are looking for a key member to join our tight-knit crew at Pruvan Construction. This is a chance to move beyond repetitive work and contribute directly to the successful completion of custom, high-quality post-frame buildings. We believe in hiring for the “anniversary date,” not the start date, which means we’re committed to your long-term success and growth.
If you’re a self-starter who wants to be trusted with significant responsibility and is ready to tackle a new challenge with a supportive team, this is the career move you’ve been waiting for.

KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES (KPOS) - WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

We are looking for a top performer to join our team and deliver the following outcomes in the first year:

  • Lead the completion of a major phase of construction. Successfully complete the framing and metal cladding on at least one large-scale commercial building project in the first six months, collaborating with the crew to ensure the phase is finished on or ahead of the project timeline.
  • Broaden your skill set to increase team versatility. Successfully integrate into the crew’s workflow and become proficient in at least two new construction aspects (e.g., installing overhead doors, new/different install techniques) within the first year, as evidenced by a 20% increase in versatility ratings from the crew foreman.
  • Proactively improve crew efficiency. Identify and implement at least one process improvement (e.g., a new tool, a more efficient technique for handling materials) that demonstrably reduces project completion time by at least 5% on a subsequent project within the first year.
  • Mentor and train junior crew members. Within the first year, proactively share their expertise and train at least one less experienced crew member in their area of specialty (e.g., framing or cladding), resulting in a measurable improvement in the trainee’s work speed or quality.
  • Ensure a high standard of quality and safety. Maintain a project quality standard that results in zero client callbacks related to their work within the first year, and consistently uphold all safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for the entire crew.
