Job Title: Frameworks Manager
Location: Cambuslang + Hybrid working
Salary from £61,600 to £77,000 + 20% + Car allowance + Family Medical Cover

As Frameworks Manager you will be responsible for supporting the Transmission Contracts Manager with the development, of SPT’s Framework strategy, aligning with both UK and Global Procurement requirements, facilitating efficient delivery of SPT programmes of work and supporting ScottishPower’s efforts to help the UK reach Net Zero.
What you’ll be doing
You will be leading the development strategies for frameworks and managing, renewing and identifying future needs for Frameworks (within their area of responsibility) with an individual value of up to £300m, and total value in excess of £1bn
You will manage and mitigate complex programme and financial risk through effective risk management of Frameworks (within their area of responsibility).
Development and management of Framework contracts to facilitate the SPT Capital and Operational programmes of work with a greater focus on framework management and control.

In addition to this you will:

  • Support the development, maintenance, and oversight of the master SPT Purchasing Plan
  • Drive and measuring continuous improvement
  • Deliver effective stakeholder management of external Framework contractors
  • Accountable for developing and managing the external Supply Chain both nationally and internationally
  • Collaboration with Licence Contracts managers and internal colleagues
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Framework KPI’s
  • Provide contract management expertise/guidance to Business users associated with Frameworks.
  • Develop and produce monthly/weekly Framework contract management reporting

What you’ll bring

  • Degree qualified in engineering, business, commercial or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of supplier management in a construction environment.
  • Contract management / Contractor relationship management experience.
  • Experience of managing a complex programme of contracts, multiple work programmes and commercial contracts.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and deliver to agreed timescales and quality standards
  • Proven experience of managing or coordinating a team in a high value project portfolio environment.
  • Understanding and experience of different Contract Types and approaches to procuring equipment/services and managing contractors.
  • Experience of developing robust contract/framework strategies.
  • Experience of developing and managing Supply Chain
  • Experience of implementing strong governance, control and risk management frameworks for contract and framework management.
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
