As we continue to scale, we are seeking a results-driven Franchise Development Manager to lead our growth strategy and bring the Pizzaiolo experience to new markets.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5–8 years of experience in franchise development, sales, or business development (QSR, foodservice, or multi-unit retail preferred)
  • Demonstrated success in franchise sales and lead conversion across multiple territories
  • Strong knowledge of the franchise sales lifecycle, franchise disclosure documents (FDD), and regulatory compliance
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and pipeline management
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels
  • Understanding of site selection, lease negotiation, and market development processes
  • Highly organized, data-driven, and results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA or CFE designation is a plus)
  • Willingness to travel regionally to attend meetings, site visits, and industry events
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Franchise Development Manager is responsible for driving franchise growth by identifying new opportunities, recruiting qualified franchisees, and supporting the expansion of our brand into new and existing markets. This is a strategic, high-impact role that works cross-functionally with leadership, operations, marketing, and real estate teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead end-to-end franchise development process from lead generation to franchise agreement signing
  • Identify, engage, and evaluate potential franchisees through discovery calls, interviews, and financial assessments
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools and reporting dashboards
  • Collaborate with the real estate team to secure prime locations and support lease negotiations
  • Work closely with marketing to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials to attract qualified leads
  • Partner with legal to manage disclosure documents, franchise agreements, and compliance processes
  • Create and maintain market expansion plans, including territory mapping and demographic analysis
  • Participate in franchise expos, webinars, and networking events to build brand visibility and grow the franchisee pipeline
  • Provide onboarding support and act as a key liaison during the transition to operations and training teams
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics, trends, and competitor activity to inform growth strategy
  • Develop best practices for franchise recruitment and continuously improve sales materials, playbooks, and processes
