Job Description Currently seeking a 1:1 Aide for Francis of Paola ELC located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Address: 201 Conselyea Street Brooklyn NY 11211 Role Description: Part Time | Monday-Friday Hours (range): 8:30A.M-2:00 P.M Non benefit role 10 month program with 30 day summer session Responsibilities include: Under the direction of the Teacher/ Behavior Trainer, follow the daily activity schedule/lesson plans and support and guide the implementation of a student’s objectives as indicated in his/her IEP. Provide direct care services to student as needed, including toileting, dressing and feeding, in an instructional manner so as to provide the basis of future independent student action. Participate in the arrival and dismissal of student as needed. Participate in activities outside the classroom when necessary (e.g. playground, field trips, gym etc.); interact with the student; and address the student’s safety and physical needs.
