Academic Advisor FranU Baton Rouge, La The Academic Advisor is responsible for supporting the mission of the University by assisting students with the development of Academic Plans of Study appropriate for their stated educational goals. The Academic Advisor works collaboratively with key stakeholders throughout the University and functions as a member of the Academic Advising Team. This person supports the mission of the University by contributing to a campus environment and culture that synthesizes the spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of our students in a holistic way. The Academic Advisor works in direct support of the Senior Academic Advisor and Director of Academic Support Services and in close collaboration with all members of the Student Affairs Division. The Academic Advisor assists with advising all relevant University-wide efforts and recruitment events as needed. The scope of the position requires occasional weekend and evening work. Occasional travel may be required. #CB

Responsibilities

The Academic Advisor assists students in developing Academic Plans of Study aligned with their educational goals. They work closely with the Senior Academic Advisor and the Director of Academic Support Services, contributing to various university-wide efforts and recruitment events.
