You can find more about ACC and the work we do at acc.co.nz.   About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi The Fraud Prevention and Investigation team works to prevent and respond to fraud, misuse, and waste through intelligence led action, timely intervention, and effective remediation. Within this team, the Fraud Analytics function designs and delivers analytical products that turn complex data into actionable intelligence, supporting prevention activity, targeted investigations, and informed decision making.   You will join a supportive and collaborative team that values working together, shared learning, and continuous improvement. If you are looking for a place where teamwork and continuous development are at the heart of what we do, this is it.   As an Intelligence Analyst you will deliver timely, accurate, and actionable intelligence and respond to data and analysis requests to support interventions and investigations. You will analyse information from multiple sources to identify emerging trends, patterns, and risks, providing expert advice to support investigations and targeted interventions.   You will work closely with Fraud Prevention & Investigation teams and key stakeholders to ensure intelligence is effectively translated into operational decisions and prevention strategies. You will need to be comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary, matrix environment and excel at managing competing priorities.   The appointing salary for this role is $73,196 – $90,418 based on experience, and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution. You will bring: * At least two years’ experience in intelligence, analytical, or closely related roles, supported by a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience * Proven ability to collect, analyse, and interpret information from multiple sources to produce timely, accurate, and actionable intelligence * Experience supporting complex investigations, including preparing intelligence products suitable for disclosure and evidential use * Working knowledge of, or the ability to learn, analytical and visualisation tools such as i2, SQL, Python, Power BI, or R * Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills, with the ability to identify emerging risks, trends, and patterns * Well developed communication and relationship building skills, able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels * A collaborative customer-focused mindset and the ability to work effectively in a multi disciplinary environment * A practical, problem‑solving approach, translating complex requirements into evidence‑based solutions. * Commitment to continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and contributing positively to team culture * Cultural awareness which may include understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and how these apply within data, analytics, and organisational  decision‑making. * You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.   Working at ACC | Mō ACC At ACC, we embrace the rich tapestry of Aotearoa New Zealand’s cultures and are dedicated to providing equitable opportunities.
