The position of fraud prevention advisor with the Desjardins Group Security Office involves more than working in a call centre. As a fraud prevention advisor, you play a key role in preventing fraud by taking the necessary steps to detect and combat suspicious activities, while minimizing financial losses. You ensure member/client satisfaction and service quality in accordance with the organization’s standards and procedures. Interpersonal savvy is essential. More specifically, you will be required to:

• Collect, compile and analyze the type and nature of suspicious transactions
• Advise members and clients who are victims of fraud on preventive measures
• Establish an advisory relationship by identifying current and potential needs
• Identify operational risks and continuously help improve the Desjardins Group Security Office’s activities
• Assist and support members and clients who are victims of various scams, ensuring they are satisfied with the support received and have an understanding of fraud.
