JOB SUMMARY:

We’re seeking experienced Freelance Assistant Producers to join our dynamic team, supporting our production team with various projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• ⁠ ⁠2+ years of experience in documentary or current affairs production
• ⁠ ⁠Strong research, organizational, and communication skills
• ⁠ ⁠Ability to handle camera operations (DSLR/mirrorless)
• ⁠ ⁠Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
• ⁠ ⁠Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

As an Assistant Producer, you will:
1.⁠ ⁠Conduct preliminary research on current affairs topics
2.⁠ ⁠Identify and cast profiles for documentary segments
3.⁠ ⁠Scout and recce locations for shoots
4.⁠ ⁠Coordinate shoot schedules and logistics
5.⁠ ⁠Source props and materials for productions
6.⁠ ⁠Manage data wrangling and transcription tasks
7.⁠ ⁠Conduct archival research for relevant footage and articles
8.⁠ ⁠Operate 2nd camera on shoots
9.⁠ ⁠Produce and post-produce segments of episodes
