Writing for a U.K. sports audience on SN’s U.K. edition, lifestyle contributors will cover the biggest stories off the pitch. From relationships and entertainment to fashion and celebrity gossip, our lifestyle Wires team is dialed into trending news and viral moments, and comfortable writing with authority against a wide range of topics. This is not a traditional sports writing role! We’re not concerned about breaking down a result as much as we are tapping into what fans are talking about beyond the games.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of driving traffic and experience utiliszing best SEO practices to surface content on Google Discover.

• Can you sell stories with captivating headlines?
• Can you identify unique, differentiating angles to major stories?
• Can you source ideas from social feeds or podcasts?
• Can you write quickly, selling a story with concise yet complete copy (300-400 words)?
