OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team. Most of all of the jobs will be in a hotel setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio and visual technology, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various AV systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. As an Audio Visual Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all audio and visual equipment operates smoothly for events and installations.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in audio visual technology or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with cabling techniques and best practices for AV setups.
• Experience with computer hardware related to AV systems is an advantage.
• Ability to telecommunicate effectively with clients and team members regarding technical issues.

• Able to provide excellent, attentive, and respectful customer service towards clients and hotel staff.
• Install, configure, and maintain audio visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AV systems promptly.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to understand AV requirements for events.
• Read and interpret schematics to assist in the installation and repair of AV systems.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide field service support as needed, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
