What you’ll be doing Own and drive new business development for the Belgian market, identifying, pursuing, and converting new client opportunities in line with egg’s growth ambitions Build and activate your existing Belgian client network (“black book”) to generate qualified leads and new brand opportunities Proactively prospect and open doors with decision-makers, positioning egg as a strategic partner for brand events and experiential marketing Represent and promote egg’s brand, capabilities, and expertise within Belgium through meetings, presentations, and industry networking Monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to identify growth opportunities and keep egg commercially relevant in Belgium Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth handover of won business and a strong client experience from pitch to delivery Must haves (We really mean it. Candidates who do not meet the following criteria will not be considered.) 5+ years’ experience in a commercial role within events, hospitality, or marketing/communications An established network of relevant clients and decision-makers that can be actively leveraged to generate new business opportunities fast. Demonstrated experience working on brand-led events and experiential marketing projects, with a strong understanding of how brands show up in live experiences Strong negotiation skills, paired with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset Comfortable working independently and managing your own pipeline Eligibility to work as a freelancer in the country where the role is based Excellent presentation and communication skills Fluency in spoken and written English & Flemish or English & French (no scrambled oeufs at egg, svp.)
