Ghost Atomic Pictures Inc., an award winning boutique video production company, is seeking freelance creative storyteller/director/producers. The work ranges from branded content customer stories to scripted pieces, keynotes and event productions. Most of our current work is short docu style pieces for larger corporations. Most freelance gigs last from 3 to 5 weeks; pay is per project and ranges in salary depending on time commitment and travel requirements. Producers typically handle 3+ projects at a time
The job will be a hybrid structure, based in the Los Angeles area, with many opportunities to travel throughout the country and around the world. The ideal candidate will have strong emotionally driven storytelling skills, an eye for detail, be highly organized, as well as a fast learner who is able to multitask. The majority of our work is centered on telling stories for technology companies such as Microsoft, so having a working knowledge of these brands and products is key.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing multiple projects simultaneously with help from the Supervising Producer and Production Coordinator.
• Creative ideation and collaborating with external clients and internal teams.
• Driving projects to completion within a given scope, budget, and timeframe.
• Working with the team to help produce call sheets, book cast and crew, scout locations, source permits, etc.
• Creating story arcs and interview questions for customer story videos.
• Communicating with clients from projects kickoff to final delivery.
• Knack for creative storytelling both inside and outside the box.
• Tech knowledge is a plus as a majority of our clients are in the tech industry.

This is not a strict 9-5pm job and some weekend work will likely be required.

Pay: $49,189.86 - $59,239.40 per year
