EcoSure, a division of Ecolab and a global leader in food safety and brand protection, is rapidly expanding worldwide. We are currently seeking a: Freelance Food Safety & Brand Standard Auditor Based in or near the Leipzig region.
Our specialists are trusted experts in food safety and operational excellence. We support leading businesses in the food service and hospitality sectors by delivering tailored on-site evaluations and training to ensure the highest standards in food safety, cleanliness, guest experience, and brand protection.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Advanced food safety qualification in accordance with German hygiene regulations (e.g. LMHV-recognized)
  • Fluent in German
  • Based in or willing to travel within the Leipzig–Dresden region
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • Flexible availability (weekdays, weekends, evenings as needed)
  • Prior auditing or inspection experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certifications such as HACCP, ISO 22000, or BRC
  • Experience with brand standards in the food service or hospitality industry
  • Background in training, coaching, or consulting in a food-related field
  • Excellent relationship management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently with strong initiative and attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks under time pressure
    This is a freelance consulting opportunity in partnership with Ecolab/EcoSure.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site evaluations focused on food safety, brand standards, and workplace health & safety
  • Consult, coach, and train clients on best practices in hygiene, food safety, and public health
  • Collaborate with account management teams to address and resolve client challenges
  • Complete a planned number of audits per month with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
  • Leverage leading industry standards and monitor local health inspection trends
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports, and maintain strong client communication and relationships
