You combine strong graphic design fundamentals with motion design expertise. You know when a static visual is enough, when animation adds impact and how to bring ideas to life through compelling visual storytelling. Whether you're designing key visuals, creating social assets or animating campaign content, you understand how great creative helps brands tell their stories and connect with audiences. Comfortable working from evolving creative briefs, you move confidently from concept to execution while balancing creativity with attention to detail. You actively follow emerging design trends, motion techniques and platform best practices, bringing fresh inspiration and contemporary thinking to every project. You are collaborative, organised and naturally curious about new technologies. What You Do As a freelance Graphic & Motion Designer, you develop engaging creative assets that bring campaigns to life across digital, social and integrated communications. You design and animate creative assets for integrated campaigns, producing work that combines strong visual design with engaging motion. You develop static creative including key visuals, social media assets, presentation materials, campaign collateral, reports and digital marketing assets. You create motion graphics, animated social content and short-form videos that capture attention and bring campaign ideas to life across multiple platforms. You transform creative concepts into compelling visual stories using animation, motion typography, transitions, sound and video editing where appropriate. You adapt creative assets across different platforms, formats and aspect ratios while maintaining brand consistency and design quality. You create infographics, data visualizations, diagrams and visual content that simplify complex information and strengthen storytelling. You collaborate closely with the wider team to develop integrated creative solutions. You prepare production-ready artwork and organise working files to ensure efficient collaboration and seamless delivery. You leverage AI-powered creative tools to support ideation, image generation, concept development and production workflows. You respond positively to creative feedback, refining work quickly while maintaining a high standard of craft and attention to detail. What You Offer A strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design and motion design across integrated campaigns, social content, branding, digital marketing or client communications. Proven ability to work independently, taking projects from creative brief through to final delivery. Strong graphic design fundamentals, including typography, layout, hierarchy, colour systems, composition and visual storytelling. Experience creating motion graphics, social animations and short-form video content using Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent tools. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, together with Figma for digital design and collaboration. Strong understanding of video editing, pacing, transitions, sound synchronisation and motion typography. Experience designing for digital and social platforms, with an understanding of how creative should adapt across Meta, LinkedIn, X, Threads and other emerging channels. Ability to apply brand guidelines consistently while contributing thoughtful creative ideas that strengthen campaign execution. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise competing deadlines and communicate progress effectively. Openness to feedback and a collaborative approach to refining creative work. Experience using AI-powered creative tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Runway, Gemini or similar platforms to accelerate ideation, design and motion workflows.
