SKILLS

  • Proficient in technical support, computer management, desktop support, and IT infrastructure maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications as well as Windows operating systems (Windows Server included) and macOS environments.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems is a plus.
  • Experience in computer networking concepts including TCP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, Meraki devices, and LAN setups.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively assist users with varying levels of technical knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting and resolving problems related to operating systems, applications, and devices.
  • Manage computer systems and perform software troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist users with desktop support tasks, including setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers and peripherals.
  • Administer VPN connections and manage firewall settings to ensure secure access to network resources.
  • Conduct analysis of network performance and troubleshoot issues related to TCP/IP, DNS, LAN, and network administration.
  • Utilize tools such as SCCM for software deployment and management within the organization.
  • Maintain Active Directory for user account management, including GPO configurations.
  • Provide customer service by responding to help desk inquiries through platforms like ServiceNow or BMC Remedy.
  • Collaborate with team members using project management tools such as Jira for tracking issues and resolutions.
  • Support mobile devices and ensure compatibility with existing IT infrastructure.
