JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a freelance Java Developer (medior/senior) to join a leading company in the banking / insurance sector.
In this role, you will contribute to the development and optimization of high-quality AP’Is and software solutions.
You will work as part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and innovation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Master of Science degree in Information Systems, related degree; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Over 5 years of experience as senior Java developer.
• You have a proven record in building API’s in Java using frameworks like Quarkus.
• Multidisciplinary IT knowledge of software, hardware and infrastructure.
• Experienced with a DevOps organization.
• Strong desire to drive lean processes with a focus on automation of IT
• You challenge yourself to keep your knowledge of Java and other technical skills up to date.
• Good command of spoken and written French or Dutch and English
• Preferably experience and knowledge in insurance or banking.
• Knowledge of Azure components like Azure API Management, Service plans, Function apps and Kubernetes are an added value
