JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. This role requires a strong understanding of networking principles and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. The Network Engineer will collaborate with various teams to support IT infrastructure and enhance overall network reliability.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in network administration with a strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow for incident management and service requests is preferred.
  • Experience in managing IT infrastructure projects from conception through implementation is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with mobile devices in a corporate environment is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) to ensure seamless connectivity across the organization.
  • Manage DNS configurations and ensure proper functionality of network services.
  • Utilize SCCM for software deployment and management across mobile devices and desktops.
  • Conduct regular network administration tasks including monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing configurations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure projects and initiatives.
  • Provide technical support for software troubleshooting related to network connectivity issues.
  • Document network configurations, changes, and procedures for future reference.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding network status, issues, and resolutions.
