FREELANCE ONSITE IT & NETWORK SUPPORT ENGINEER (CONTRACT-BASED)

We are currently looking for an Onsite IT & Network Support Engineer/Technician to handle freelance, task-based assignments in your local area.
This is a contractual role, best suited for professionals seeking flexible, OnDemand work. Compensation is provided on a per-task, hourly, half-day, or daily basis depending on the nature of the assignment.
Tasks will be dispatched based on your location and availability (including weekdays and weekends).

REQUIRED SKILLS:

✅ Proven experience in desktop/system administration, customer service, and IT support
✅ Understanding of incident, change, and release management processes
✅ Hands-on experience with Windows platforms and third-party applications
✅ Knowledge of basic networking concepts: DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, subnetting, and LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting
✅ Ability to configure and resolve issues with Ethernet, desktop connectivity, and wireless LAN setups
✅ Experience supporting multiple operating systems including Windows, iOS, Android, and Blackberry
✅ Professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus

Responsibilities
  • Perform Level 1 & Level 2 IT and Network support tasks
  • Handle desktop support (hardware/software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting)
  • Perform hardware replacement (e.g., server/rack components like hard drives, RAM, power supplies)
  • Provide on-site support to assist remote engineers (console access to routers, switches, firewalls, etc.)
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely resolution of assigned tickets
