HOLDING AT LEAST ONE OF THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

• NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Safety and Health
• NVQ/SVQ Level 5 in Occupational Safety and Health (or higher)
• Health and Safety degree
• NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health Part 2, NEBOSH Units A, B, C and D
• Diploma Safety Management Level 6.

AS WELL AS ONE OF THE ABOVE QUALIFICATIONS WHERE APPLICABLE, TRAINERS MUST ALSO HOLD THE FOLLOWING:

• A formal training qualification, equivalent to a Level 3 Award in education and training (AET) or CITB recognised exemption. (PTLLS)
• For new trainers, a current certificate at or above the level of course the trainer is delivering must have been achieved. (SMSTS Certification)
• For renewing trainers, demonstrable CPD records in lieu of a current course certificate.
• All applicants must have good communication skills and be able to engage with learners with varied levels of skills, experience and knowledge, reliability and good planning skills are essential, successful applicants will be an integral part of the team in the delivery of these courses remotely.

• Experience in the delivery of several of the following: abrasive wheels, hand-held disc cutter, cat & genny, CDM (awareness, principal designer, principal contractor), confined spaces, face fit testing, fire marshal, vehicle marshal, working at height, temporary works, asbestos awareness, IATP, and Building Safety Act.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking experienced, freelance CITB Site Safety Plus (SSP) Tutors and Construction Health & Safety NVQ Assessors/Trainers to deliver online and face-face training and assessment services to learners across the UK construction industry. You will play a key role in helping individuals and organisations meet industry training standards and qualifications.
This is a remote/flexible role with national travel, ideal for professionals with solid industry experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for developing competence and compliance in construction health and safety.
