JOB DESCRIPTION

Claremont Cars, Ltd. is seeking a Freelance Private Hire Taxi Driver to join our team in Claygate, Esher. Applicants must have a private hire driver’s license issued by Elmbridge Borough Council. Please check their website for the requirements to apply for the license.

SKILLS:

  • Proven work experience as a driver (1+ years)
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
  • Must have clean driving record with no traffic violations within last 3 years
  • Able to pass drug screen and background check
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
    Pay: From £200.00 per day
    Expected hours: No less than 8 per week

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the safe and timely operation of a company vehicle (i.e., driving, talking, using hand-held devices, etc.)
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, and federal and state transit regulations while operating in the company vehicle
  • Maintains excellent customer service and professional communication with patients, co-workers, and supervisors while on the phone or in the office
  • Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle prior to arrival at patient’s location to include checking oil, check engine light, tire pressure, etc.
  • Complete paperwork as needed during trip including but not limited to billing, ticketing, etc.
  • Adhere to time-off and attendance requirements
  • Maintain clean driving record according to Department of Transportation standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
