JOB DESCRIPTION: PRIVATE TUTOR (PRIMARY AND SECONDARY LEVELS)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of a diploma in education or relevant subjects. MOE or Special Education qualifications are highly regarded.
  • Prior experience working with children, especially those with special needs or learning difficulties, is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and customise learning plans based on the student’s progress and needs.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students achieve their potential.

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one tuition to primary and secondary school students.
  • Develop personalised lesson plans and resources that align with each student’s learning needs and school curriculum.
  • Utilise creative and engaging teaching methods to support students in achieving academic success, particularly those with learning or special needs.
  • Assess students’ progress and provide timely feedback to parents and guardians.
  • Work closely with parents, caregivers, and our administrative team to ensure consistent support for the student.
  • Stay updated on the latest teaching methods and special education trends, especially for students with SEN (Special Educational Needs).
