JOB SUMMARY

Are you passionate about science and education? We are looking for dynamic and dedicated Freelance Science Instructors to join our team! This role is ideal for graduates, students, or anyone interested in earning extra income while teaching children aged 3-15 the wonders of science. Previous experience in science education is a plus, but not required – training will be provided! We are looking for candidates who can commit to a minimum term of 6 months.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Interest in science and education: A passion for teaching children about science and instilling a love for learning through engaging lessons and experiments.
• Teaching experience: Previous experience in teaching children is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong communication: Ability to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Responsibility and professionalism: Punctuality, preparedness for classes, and a professional approach to teaching.
• Organized and creative: Ability to manage class materials and create an interactive and fun learning environment.
• Commitment: Must be willing to commit to a minimum term of 6 months.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE (PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED)

• Experience in science education or related fields.
• Previous experience working with children (ages 3-15).
• A strong interest in learning and teaching new science concepts and experiments.

• Deliver engaging science classes: Follow and deliver lesson plans for science experiments, activities, and lessons to students in regular classes, workshops, and camps.
• Ensure smooth class operations: Create an organized, professional, and stimulating environment that promotes curiosity and hands-on learning.
• Monitor student progress: Provide constructive feedback, encourage students’ scientific thinking, and help them develop their skills in problem-solving and discovery.
• Address parent queries: Respond to feedback and questions from parents in a timely, professional manner.
• Collaboration: Work closely with fellow instructors and staff to ensure seamless operations and a positive learning experience for all students.
• Promote the organization: Contribute to the promotion and development of the company’s activities in alignment with our vision and mission.
