Splendid Communications is looking for an experienced Freelance Social & Digital Account Manager to join our busy social team, working across high‑profile consumer brands in the food and drink space. We are currently recruiting for a permanent member of the team and whilst we go through that process we require freelance support. Key Responsibilities We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Social & Digital Account Manager to join Splendid’s fast‑paced social team, working across high‑profile consumer brands, including food, drink and travel. This is a varied, fast‑paced role for someone confident managing clients, leading campaigns, and delivering standout social content from strategy through to execution an This role is perfect for someone who thrives in agency life, loves social content, and is confident leading clients, campaigns and teams from idea to delivery. What you’ll do Be the day‑to‑day lead for clients, building trusted relationships and managing expectations Lead social campaigns from planning to execution, delivering standout content across platforms Oversee always‑on and campaign content, including shoots, events and live social Work closely with creative, production and influencer partners to bring ideas to life Manage timelines, budgets, reporting and evaluations with confidence Support, mentor and motivate junior team members Spot opportunities, manage risks and help accounts grow Proven experience managing social or digital accounts within an agency Strong understanding of social platforms, content creation and reporting Confident client communicator with excellent organisational skills Comfortable juggling multiple projects in a busy environment A collaborative team player with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset Balance work and home life with our Hybrid working policy – working 2 days from home and 3 days a week in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) 💻 Early 4.30 pm finish on Friday 🙌 Headspace hour - 1 hour guaranteed meeting-free per day At Splendid we care deeply and are passionate about inclusion at every level of our business.
