Hourly Rate: £35
Contract Type: Freelance / Self-employed
Hours Available: Part Time / Supplementary Hours - Up to 25 per week (self-managed; predominantly Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm)
KEYFORT is seeking passionate, committed, and experienced professionals to join our specialist academic support team. As a Freelance Specialist Study Skills Tutor (SpLD), you will work in partnership with universities and further education colleges to deliver high-quality, person-centred academic support for students with Autism.
Your dual role will involve:
Support will be delivered face-to-face at university campuses local to you and, where appropriate based on student needs and funding body agreements.

We put the student at the centre of the support they receive, encouraging independence and aiming to fulfil their ambitions and aspirations. We are looking to recruit a passionate, enthusiastic and committed Study Skills Tutors who have specific experience of working with individuals Dyslexia. You will be providing a high quality, responsive service which aims to remove barriers that prevent students from participating in higher and further education.
What would you be doing in your role; You will be working within the Universities and Further Education Colleges that KEYFORT work in partnership with. An expectation of the role will be creating comprehensive Individual Learning Plans (ILP) and, providing support to students as stipulated in the assessment remit.
You will be providing a high quality, responsive service which aims to remove barriers that prevent students from participating in higher and further education. To be considered for this position you must be highly motivated, positive person that will encourage students to take responsibility for their own learning and to develop their skills as far as possible. You will provide expertise in the area of study to help students to develop their learning strategies
