We are seeking an experienced, talented and creative Freelance Technical Clothing Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of design projects that span across women’s active and ready-to-wear categories. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and demonstrate proficiency in industry-standard software. • Translate design concepts into accurate technical packages (tech packs) with detailed constuction, measurements, and trim specifications.
• Lead fit sessions, analyze garments, and provide clear, actuinable comments for pattern makers and factories.
• Develop and maintain garment specs, grade rules, and consturction standards.
• Partner with Byrdie designers to ensure aesthetic intent while balancing production feasibility and cost efficiency.
