We’re currently looking for a Freelance Video Editor to join our team, specifically creating and editing #Shorts content for our Video Game focused content properties. A freelance entry-level editing position, you will be reporting to the channel manager directly. A #Shorts Freelance Video Editor’s primary responsibility will be to create videos that are vertical (9:16) and under 1 minute in length, with a focus on gaming IPs like The Legend of Zelda, God of War, Grand Theft Auto, Assassin’s Creed, and more general topics like Nintendo and Fighting Games.
Applicants must possess adequate editing skills in FCPX or Adobe Premiere. Knowledge of after effects, graphics and Photoshop is a bonus.

• Creativity and comedic sense of editing and content.
• Ability to take on ideas, as well as pitch ideas that resonate with our audience.
• Willingness to create short Metadata for the completed video projects. (Training included)

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to create vertical video edits using Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro
• Ability to create custom text, graphics and overlays either within the editing program.
• Ability to record voiceover for Shorts videos.
• Deep knowledge of Video Games and short form video content

Extra (Not necessary, but a plus):

• Basic knowledge of After Effects
• Interest in appearing on-camera
